Attainment Scotland Fund (ASF) Evaluation Summative report, 2026
The summative report is the final output of the Attainment Scotland Fund Evaluation Strategy 2022-26. It brings together both quantitative and qualitative evidence to report on progress towards the short, medium and long term outcomes of the Scottish Attainment Challenge.
Annex 3: 2025 National Stakeholder Interviews: methodological information
Interviews were conducted with representatives from national bodies who have a stake in SAC; seven interviews took place between November 2025 and January 2026.
The fieldwork took the form of online semi-structured interviews with individuals or groups from each organisation. The interviews were supported by a topic guide, with an outline of topics provided to those invited to contribute in advance.
The interviews were recorded and transcribed with the permission of the interviewees, for the purposes of analysis. Consent forms were provided to, and completed by, interviewees in advance.
