Equality outcomes 2025-2029: summary - easy read
Provides an update on our new equality outcomes for the 2025 to 2029 reporting period, including intended actions we will take to meet these outcomes.
Conclusion
The 2025–2029 equality outcomes show that the Scottish Government wants to make equality and human rights part of all the work they do.
To reach these outcomes we will need:
- all of the government working together.
- strong leadership and to know who is responsible.
- ongoing work with communities and other organisations.
The aim is to create a more fair, inclusive, and rights-based Scotland. We want to make Scotland a place where everyone can thrive.
