11. Scottish Government Vacant and Derelict Land Fund

In 2024, the Vacant and Derelict Land Fund (VDLF) has made either a partial or full contribution to the removal of 2 hectares (5 sites). The cumulative total since 2005 is 468 hectares.

Across the seven councils in the VDLF from 2005 to 2023, an estimated 192,700 properties (both private households and communal establishments) were within 500 metres of land reclaimed with the involvement of the VDLF.
