Satisfaction with the Quality of Local Health Services
Across Scotland, the percentage of people who said they were satisfied with the quality of local health services has fallen by 6 percentage points from 67% in 2023 to 61% in 2024.

Note that the question was not asked in 2020 and 2021.
Shetland Islands reported the highest percentage of satisfied responses with 84%, while North Lanarkshire reported the lowest percentage with 47%.
Moray reported the highest increase in percentage of people satisfied from 2023 to 2024, with an increase of 3 percentage points from 60% to 63%. East Ayrshire shows the greatest decrease in satisfied responses with a fall of 15 percentage points from 67% to 53%.
69% of respondents living in Remote Rural areas said they were satisfied with the quality of local health services compared with 63% in Large Urban Areas and 57% in Other Urban Areas.

Satisfaction with local health services in the most and least deprived Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) quintiles were similar, at 60% and 61%, respectively.
