Timeliness is about releasing statistics in a timely and punctual manner.

Agriculture subsector estimates

Agriculture emissions are reported annually in the Scottish Greenhouse Gas Statistics. Subsector analysis of agriculture emissions cannot be published earlier than the Scottish Greenhouse Gas Statistics. Where possible, subsector analysis is released on the same day.

 

Farm level GHG emissions and nitrogen use estimates

Information about timeliness and punctuality for the Farm Business Survey and its official statistical outputs are available at Scottish farm business income: annual estimates.

Economic results from the survey are released in March or April.

Results on farm level emissions and nitrogen usage are processed after completion of the compilation, preparation and dissemination of the economic results and cannot be released earlier than the Accredited Official Statistics Publication on Scottish farm business income: annual estimates.
