Child friendly version of the first children's rights scheme as required under section 15 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024.
9. Children and young people’s views about the Children’s Rights Scheme
Between February and March 2025, Young Scot helped the Scottish Government to ask children and young people for their views on the Scheme.
Young Scot used an online survey and workshops to ask children and young people across Scotland for their views.
Overall children and young people were happy with the actions in the Scheme. This part of the report will say more about what children and young people told us.
