6 Next Steps
6.1.1 The Strategic Compensation Policy and supporting information will be finalised, in response to comments made during the consultation. In the event that major changes are required to the Strategic Compensation Policy as a result of the consultation, further assessment and/or consultation may be required. This will result in revised timescales for final adoption and publication of the Strategic Compensation Policy.
6.1.2 The final Strategic Compensation Policy will be prepared and presented for approval by Scottish Ministers. The Strategic Compensation Policy will be implemented through a Scottish SI and through Statutory Guidance. A Final BRIA and an SEA Post Adoption Statement will also be prepared and published in line with relevant legislative requirements.
