The National Good Food Nation Plan - Accompanying Statement
This statement sets out how regard has been had to the Scottish Parliament's scrutiny of the proposed national Good Food Nation Plan and how this has informed the approach taken.
Conclusion
172. We recognise that there were many varied comments and viewpoints expressed during the scrutiny process. Where possible we have made changes to the national Plan: where we could not make changes, we have reflected on what else the Scottish Government is doing in the various policy areas on the topic of food. The process has also highlighted areas that we will keep under review going forward.
173. We would like to thank the Committees for undertaking parliamentary scrutiny and stakeholders for their participation in the evidence sessions. It is an integral part of the Good Food Nation process and of immense value.
