The National Good Food Nation Plan - Accompanying Statement
This statement sets out how regard has been had to the Scottish Parliament's scrutiny of the proposed national Good Food Nation Plan and how this has informed the approach taken.
Additional Changes
170. To note, there have been some changes made to the Plan that are not specifically referenced above. This includes changes to the section on indicators: this section has been summarised in the national Plan so as to avoid repetition with the analytical document that will be published alongside the national Plan. The analytical document contains the detailed information about the indicators while the Plan sets out high level information about the indicators for each Outcome.
171. We have also added a section addressing inequalities in the food system within Part 1 of the Plan. This acts as a prompt for policymakers to help them consider a wide range of inequalities when having regard to the national Plan.
