National Care Service Charter of Rights: Easy Read Co-design Agreeing Phase Report

This is an Easy Read translation of the agreeing phase report that sets out what we learned from the final phase of co-design of the National Care Service Charter of Rights. It includes insights which helped shape the final design and content of the Charter.

About the Charter of Rights

The Charter of Rights will help you understand your rights and what to expect from social care, social work and community health support.

This Charter explains:

  • your rights when getting care and support
  • what you can expect from your support
  • what to do if your rights are not being met

The Charter is part of the Scottish Government’s plans to improve social care.

These plans aim to make sure care is based on people’s rights.
