3. Next Steps in Delivery Plan development
Annex A sets out potential policy options for inclusion in the plan based on our work to date. Some actions in the current Delivery Plan may be candidates for continuation in the refreshed Plan, as feedback has suggested meaningful progress can be made. Annex A also captures suggestions for where we might go further, or where there are policy gaps.
It is noted that annex A summarises high level feedback from all engagement. However, in line with our agreed principles, we envision the list of actions in the final Delivery Plan will be a short, focused selection of only the most critical and transformational work. There will also only be one Plan, combining the Workforce Action Plan and current Delivery Plan. Therefore, not all of the options listed in annex A will be in the refreshed delivery plan.
In the next phase of development, key areas of focus identified through engagement will be considered by policy leads who will draft actions which align with the underlying principles. It is important to note that where ideas do not make it into the delivery plan, work on these topics may continue in other forms or stay under consideration for future refreshes.
