Low Emission Zone Support Fund: how to apply
This fund helps households and small businesses near a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) scrap a polluting vehicle and switch to cleaner travel, with grants of up to £3,000.
Objectives
The Fund supports adaptation to Low Emission Zones, improving local air quality and encouraging transition to more sustainable and active travel.
It aims to:
- reduce the number of high-polluting vehicles on Scotland's roads
- boost the replacement of LEZ non-compliant vehicles with sustainable alternatives
- improve access to active travel equipment for low-income households (households fund)
