  2. Complete the form and gather your supporting evidence
  3. Email your completed form and supporting evidence to: ChildrensRightsandParticipation@gov.scot by the deadline stated for the grant you are applying for

What to include

Your application should include:

  • completed application form

  • two examples of recent relevant work demonstrating your capability
  • cost breakdown using the template provided

After you apply

We will not consider applications that are late, incomplete or do not meet the eligibility requirements.

A panel will assess eligible applications against the criteria in the application form. We weight quality at 70% and cost at 30%.

We encourage applicants to consider working in partnership where this adds value. We will consider which combination of applications best supports access to justice for children and young people.

We aim to notify applicants of the outcome in early March 2026.
