The EU remains Scotland’s top destination, accounting for around 38% of the value of Scotland’s total goods exports. The USA is Scotland's second largest export market, worth £4.3 billion and accounting for 18% of Scotland's total goods exports.

Value of Scotland’s international goods exports in 2025
The largest increases in goods exports in the last 12 months have been to Western Europe (up 13%) and Latin America and the Caribbean (up 3%), though exports to EU decreased by 4% and North America decreased by 5%.
