Energy Statistics for Scotland - Q1 2026

Errata published on 19th August 2026:

It has been identified that the horizontal axis of Figure 3, originally published in the new electricity storage section, did not start at zero. This resulted in a chart where the relative proportions of the bars were misrepresented.

The error was due to the software used to produce the bar chart automatically defaulting the horizontal axis to start at 680, which was not picked up during quality assurance. This was purely a presentational issue and the numbers reported were correct. Figure 3 has now been updated.
