The Miscarriage Association has launched new free training for health professionals. These 2.5 hour interactive training sessions take place on Teams every fortnight or so and aim to provide professionals working in early pregnancy care with a vital toolkit for practice and reflection. Modules include understanding pregnancy loss, compassionate communication and effective clinical practice. Booking is available through the above link.

The new live training is in addition to the charity’s existing free eLearning resource – a flexible way to continue your learning at your own pace. In partnership with the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust, the Miscarriage Association also holds free monthly Professional Pause reflective practice sessions for healthcare professionals working in early pregnancy and related care.

And it hosts a Professional Pause Facebook group as a way to connect with colleagues, share learning and access peer support. Support for health professionals is also available from the charity on 0303 003 6464 or by emailing info@miscarriageassociation.org.uk
