The data protection impact assessment provides information on how data collected as part of the proof of concept fund will be handled in line with current data protection laws.

All Scottish universities have had the opportunity to make comments and suggestions and ask questions about the development of the PoC fund and the data that will be collected as a result.

5.2 Method used to consult with these groups when making the DPIA
All groups have been involved in shaping the overall development of the PoC fund with opportunities to provide both written and verbal feedback and we will continue to keep stakeholders up to date on the progress of the PoC fund through regular engagement. The DPIA will be made publicly available on the Scottish government website.

No data protection issues were identified by these groups during meetings.
5.4 Method used to communicate the outcomes of the DPIA
The DPIA will be published on the Scottish government website when complete
