A consultation is a set of questions that the Scottish Government ask everyone to see what they think about new plans.

We want to know what you think about us maybe changing some laws about money rights.

Money rights are the protections in law that we all have for our own money and belongings.

This consultation is about cohabitants who split up.

Cohabitants means people who are in a relationship and live together but are not married.

Splitting up means moving out and ending a relationship.

It is also called separation.
