2. About the consultation
The consultation ran from 23 January to 23 March 2026. It invited views on the proposed 2026 Draft Remedial Order and associated impact assessments. Questions covered application rights for patients and named persons, duties and powers of the parties involved in reviews, operational challenges, effects on people with lived experience, families and carers, equality, children’s rights and wellbeing, business and organisational effects, implementation timing, unintended consequences and any other comments.
