Terms of reference for group set up to oversee and direct independent research into how best to deliver children's services in the context of the National Care Service (NCS).

Review
As part of the programme management process this Terms of Reference will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure membership and priorities remain aligned with the pace of developments. The Review should take place either every three months or in line with any significant changes to the programme.
Business conducted by the Research Steering Group
Regular items for consideration by the research steering group at scheduled meetings include:
- chairs update - each meeting
- updates from research team - each meeting
- review of key milestones - each meeting
- ad hoc reports - each meeting
