Consumer Duty Assessment for the Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Bill


Decision

Consideration has been, and will continue to be, given to consumers, which in this case include children, young people, their families and adults who have experience of care, as well as kinship and foster carers. Due regard has been given to the Duty that Scottish Government have to consider the impact of the Bill provisions and the desirability of reducing harm to consumers. The seven consumer principles have also been considered with the fairness principle being given particular consideration.
