This report provides an overview of the performance of building standards verification services across Scotland and information on the professional workforce employed by local authorities to provide verification services.
7. Workforce supply
7.1.The current number of staff (supply) has decreased by 15 (2.5%) from 2023. See Table 3.
7.2.There is an increase in the Team Leader, Senior Surveyor and Graduate Surveyor job roles. Surveyor and specialist roles have remained unchanged and the number of people in all other job roles has decreased.
