This report provides an overview of the performance of building standards verification services across Scotland and information on the professional workforce employed by local authorities to provide verification services.
11. Professional membership
11.1.Professional memberships held is down by 15. After a slight increase last year this number has now fallen below the number held in 2022. See Table 7.
11.2.The number of RICS memberships continues to fall, from 82 in 2022 to 77 in 2024, however as an overall percentage of the workforce this remains around 33%.
11.3.The only increase is in CIAT memberships, which has increased by 75% from 4 to 7.
