This report provides an overview of the performance of building standards verification services across Scotland and information on the professional workforce employed by local authorities to provide verification services.
6. Workforce demand
6.1.There is a reduction of seven in the overall demand from 2023. See Table 2.
6.2.The roles with an increase in demand are Senior Surveyor and Graduate Surveyor. There remains a demand in the medium to longer term for most job roles (see Chart 11).
