Biodiversity Programme Advisory Group - target indicator: recommendations
The Biodiversity Programme Advisory Group (PAG) has provided expert recommendations to inform statutory nature restoration targets under Scotland’s proposed Natural Environment Bill, a key component of the strategic framework for biodiversity in Scotland.
Annex 2
Potential indicators for target topics identified by PAG
Letters and numbers in parentheses refer to agreed Global Biodiversity Framework Headline Indicators. Scotland will have to collate data for all Global Biodiversity Framework Headline Indicators as part of UK reporting and potentially on its own behalf. The first column also identifies whether the indicator relates to marine or terrestrial (M or T) environments (or both), or for a small number indicates (?) where this has not been determined. This list is based on work undertaken by NatureScot, with thanks to David O’Brien, Katherine Leys and Ben Ross.
