Demographics of applicants to the Scottish Super Sponsor Scheme

The latest demographics statistics for Scotland, as provided by DLUHC up to 28 June, show that the largest proportion of the Scottish Super Sponsor Scheme applications, visas issued and arrivals were from female applicants (Figure 2). We understand that DLUHC will publish more up to date data in due course.

The highest proportion of both male and female applicants was in the ’18 to 65’ age group, for the Scottish Super Sponsor Scheme. Please note that age and sex demographics are extracted from the visa application form, and will reflect the individual’s travel documentation and their age when first arriving to the UK under the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme.

This bar graph shows the number of Scottish Super Sponsor visa applications, visas issued and arrivals by age (under 18, 18 to 65, 65 and over) and sex (male, female) in the period up to 28 June which is the highest for the age group 18 to 65 for all three categories. The number of visa applications, issued visas and arrivals is slightly higher for males under 18 than females under 18, whereas  the number of visa applications, visas issued and arrivals is higher for females aged 18 to 65 compared to males aged 18 to 65.
