UK Cetacean Conservation Strategy: equality impact assessment

The Scope of the EQIA

The EQIA process, at this stage, has been minimal. The Strategy does not actively exclude or target groups or individuals with protected characteristics. It aims to conserve and protect cetaceans in UK waters. An Island Communities Impact Assessment and a Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment have been undertaken in addition to this EQIA. New policy is not being introduced at this stage.
