Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics: update to 30 June 2023

During April to June 2023, decisions were made on 21,600 Community Care Grant applications (Table 12) with an acceptance rate of 51% (Table 14 and Chart 6) and decisions were made on 63,100 Crisis Grant applications (Table 15) with an acceptance rate of 63% (Table 17 and Chart 7).

Local authorities awarded 12,355 Community Care Grants, 225 (2%) more than October to December 2021 (Table 13, Chart 7) and 42,165 Crisis Grants, 1,800 (4%) fewer than October to December 2021 (Table 16, Chart 7).
