Annex B plain text

Figure 4 shows the logic model for knowledge transfer projects. First, it shows inputs (e.g. SG/EC co-funding; staff; venue; speakers), followed by actions (e.g. promoting events, identifying target groups, preparing materials). Next, outputs include e.g. training, workshops, and farm visits delivered, as well as project reports. Short term outcomes include improved knowledge, awareness, confidence and skills, as well as building networks and contacts. Medium term outcomes include e.g. networks built, skills gaps decreased, and changes at farms implemented. Long term outcomes include enhanced competitiveness; ecosystems restored, preserved and enhanced; resources used efficiently; low carbon, climate resistant economy; and lifelong learning.

Figure 5 shows the logic model for innovation. Inputs include e.g. EC/SG cofunding, match funding and operational groups. This is followed by actions (working cooperatively, piloting an innovative idea, gathering data and evidence) and outputs (e.g. partnerships, news ideas, data and evidence). Short term outcomes include knowledge exchange and promotion, learning communicated via the EIP, and piloted idea having a positive effect at participating farms. Medium term outcomes include cooperation and innovation in agriculture is fostered; innovative solutions are implemented at farms; and networks are built. Long term outcomes include enhanced competitiveness; ecosystems restored, preserved and enhanced; resources used efficiently; and low carbon, climate resistant economy.
