Vision
The Scottish Health Information Integrity Strategy will provide the framework for a safe, coherent, evidence-based and ethical approach to address the negative health effects of false health information in Scotland.
Strategic Objectives
- To build understanding across Scotland’s healthcare system of the potential harms false or misleading health information can cause.
- Identify relevant parties and areas with an interest in countering poor quality health information and the capability to contribute to mitigation actions in Scotland.
- Set out areas for partnership working across institutions in Scotland and with UK and international partners.
- Build and further strengthen capacity by identifying key relevant work required to deliver on the strategy recommendations.
