Guidance on funding to set up a project to promote Scotland’s worldwide reputation. The application window for the Scottish Connections Fund 2023 to 2024 closed in November 2023.

Who can apply

The fund is open to Scottish diaspora organisations, including:

Caledonian, St Andrew’s or other Scotland-linked community or heritage organisations
alumni groups, linked to Scottish institutions or as a community of those educated in Scotland
cultural, musical, theatrical, sporting, linguistic, religious or related bodies with Scottish links
business or professional groups that promote trade and investment connections between Scotland and their host country
educational institutions with a focus on Scottish studies
organisers of major Scottish themed events, such as Tartan Festivals, Highland Games, music/cultural/dance festivals
