Scotland’s Cladding Remediation Programme monthly management information: November 2025

This report presents management information for Scotland’s Cladding Remediation Programme to provide an indication of progress on a monthly basis.


Key points

  1. As at 30 November 2025, the Cladding Remediation Programme had received 1,255 expressions of interest (EoIs) via the Single Open Call, which is an increase of 52 over the last month.

  2. Just over half of the EoIs (55%) were submitted by social landlords. Similarly just over half (54%) of the EoIs received related to buildings in Glasgow City and City of Edinburgh local authority areas.

  3. As at 30 November 2025, the Cladding Remediation Programme had identified that 412 (33%) of the EoIs received as part of the Single Open Call were not eligible for funding from the Cladding Remediation Programme to carry out a Single Building Assessment (SBA).

  4. As at 30 November 2025, the Cladding Remediation Programme had issued initial grant or funding offers in relation to 475 EoIs. This number has not increased over the last two months.

  5. As at 30 November 2025, the Cladding Remediation Programme had been informed that 16 SBAs, based on the specification published in June 2024, had been completed and one other SBA had been started.

  6. As at 30 November 2025, urgent interim measures were in place in buildings relating to six of the completed SBAs. Remediation work had started in buildings relating to two of the completed SBAs, including one where urgent interim measures were also in place. These numbers have not increased over the last two months.

  7. The Cladding Remediation Programme’s total expenditure from financial year 2021/22 to 30 November 2025 was £14.5 million.
