Rethink Dementia Marketing Campaign Evaluation – 2024/25

10. Conclusion

The first burst of the Rethink Dementia campaign has been impactful, performing strongly overall and exceeding four of its five SMART objectives.

After seeing the advertising, the majority of campaign recognisers realised that people with dementia can live well after diagnosis and better understood what they could do to help them stay well for longer. Nearly three quarters took meaningful action.

These outcomes point to a strong foundation for future bursts of the campaign, with clear potential to drive lasting change in attitudes and behaviours towards people with a dementia diagnosis.
