Restitution Fund: how to apply
The Restitution Fund supports organisations providing services to police officers, staff, and others assisting them, who have been assaulted in the course of their duties.
Eligibility
Who can apply
You can apply if you are a charity, organisation or registered professional, based in or delivering services in Scotland, that provides support to victims of assault.
The victims you support must be police officers and staff, or others who were helping them at the time.
Who cannot apply
Individual victims of assault cannot apply directly.
What funding can be used for
You can use funding for services, treatments, equipment and adjustments supporting victims' physical and mental health and wellbeing. Funding must be for a specified purpose and cannot be a general contribution to your organisation.
What funding cannot be used for
You cannot use funding to make direct payments to victims.
All funding must be spent within one year of the award offer.
