Red Rocks and Longay Marine Protected Area: business and regulatory impact assessment
Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) which looks at the social and economic impacts of the designation of the Red Rocks and Longay Marine Protected Area (MPA).
Summary and recommendation
It is proposed that Red Rocks and Longay becomes an MPA under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010. In addition an MCO is proposed to ensure that the MPA (if designated) is well-managed and that the conservation objectives for each protected features are furthered.
