Who We Are

DPEA's senior management team is made up of the Interim Chief Reporter, Scott Ferrie; the three Assistant Chief Reporters, Allison Coard, Karen Heywood and Dan Jackman; the Head of Performance and Administration, David Henderson; and the Principal Reporters, David Buylla, David Liddell, Claire Milne and Robert Seaton.

Paul Cackette, the former Chief Reporter who retired in January, has been appointed to the self-employed reporters panel. Tim Brian and Bob Maslin both retired from the self-employed reporters panel, the latter after the period of this report.

Our administrative staff are based in our office in Falkirk and are divided into a number of groups and teams including specialised caseworkers, caseworkers and the IT/Finance team. Our organisational chart at Appendix B shows our management and administrative structure.

Our reporters are listed at Appendix C. Although they are home based they are in regular contact with members of the casework support team and work closely with them. Reporters have a variety of professional backgrounds albeit most are planners.
