Equality Impact analysis Policy Development
EQIAs form the cornerstone of evidence-based policymaking and practice. They ensure policies take into account the diverse needs and experiences of the people who benefit from our work.
The revised Footcare Guidance 2025 has been developed to define personal foot care, to clarify the existing services and interventions provided by NHS Podiatry services. There are no anticipated additional resource pressures to NHS boards or associated services following publication of this guidance.
No changes were made to the policy development as a result of this Equality Impact analysis. The analysis did not identify any negative impact on protected characteristic groups, and we are therefore assured that this work complies with the Equality Act 2010.
