Who this covers 

This one-year pay agreement - covering 2024 to 2025 - applies to all NHS Scotland consultants and relevant clinical academics. 

Main points 

  • 1 year pay deal covering 2024 to 2025 
  • 10.5% pay increase for all staff, backdated to 1 April 2024 
  • Discretionary Points increased from £3,204 to £3,600 per point 
  • related allowances also increased 
  • total investment of £124.9 million

  • review consultant job plans to improve retention
