National Care Service: Complaints - Co-design Partnership Programme report

This is a report from sessions Scottish Government held around the health and social care complaints process. These sessions were part of our Co-design Partnership Programme.

Co-design sessions

We ran 8 co-design sessions with people from different backgrounds and communities. The people who took part had experience of a range of services, including justice social work services and children’s services.

Our sessions were held in:

  • Clydebank
  • Edinburgh
  • Glasgow
  • Perth

We also held some sessions online for people who could not travel. To run these sessions, we worked with:

  • Action for Children
  • Age Scotland
  • Carr Gomm
  • Deaf Blind Scotland
  • Glasgow Disability Alliance
  • Minority Ethnic Carers Of People Project (MECOPP)
  • Next Chapter

At the sessions we discussed:

  • how people find information, make complaints and experience the complaints process
  • ways of making complaints more simple
