GDP Monthly Estimate: February 2025

In February, the industry which made the largest contribution to overall GDP was Electricity & Gas supply, which contributed around 0.3 percentage points of growth to headline GDP. The positive contributions were offset by falling output in several industries. The largest contributor to monthly contraction was Information & Communications.
In February, output in the Production sector is estimated to have grown by 2.0%, while Services sector output contracted by 0.6%, with contraction in 11 of the 14 subsectors. Construction sector output grew by 0.4% in February.
