The Scottish Government, as Secretariat for the Independent Review, is managing this call for evidence on behalf of the Independent Review but will not see any confidential responses, which will be considered confidentially by the core Review Group only.
Please ensure that responses are submitted before the closing date of 5pm on Monday 20 April 2026.
Handling your response
Any information you send in response to this call for evidence will be stored by BJ Gill KC. It will be destroyed no later than six months after the publication of the Independent Review’s report. Agenda items including consideration of any confidential information will be taken in private. Confidential information that you provide may be used anonymously to inform the Independent Review’s report and/or recommendations – but please indicate in your response if you do not want this to be the case.
