File submission

Files should be sent via email to: homelessness_statistics_inbox@gov.uk

Guidance for submitting cases

Cases should be submitted in batches four times a year. Each batch should include cases for which one or more of the following stages has been completed:

Stage 1: Application details (questions 1 to 16c)

Stage 2: Assessment details (questions 17 to 20d)

Stage 3: Outcome details (questions 21 to 25)

Cases must NOT BE submitted until at least one (further) stage is finished. If stage 1 has already been finalised and the details submitted in a previous batch, then the case should not be submitted again until at least one further stage has been finalised. Cases being submitted from all three stages should be included on the same file.

Cases should only be submitted at other times when errors have been found, or in response to an enquiry on the validity of what has previously been submitted.
