GDP First Quarterly Estimate 2025 Q2 (April to June)
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) statistics measure the output of the economy in Scotland. The GDP first quarterly estimate is an accredited national statistics publication for Scotland.

In 2025 Quarter 2 (April to June), Scotland’s GDP grew by 0.2% in real terms compared to 2025 Quarter 1, following growth of 0.4% in Quarter 1. Over Quarter 2, GDP for the UK as a whole grew by 0.3%.
At the broad sector level in the latest quarter, output in the Services sector grew by 0.6%, output in the Production sector contracted by 2.3%, output in the Construction sector grew by 1.2% and output in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing contracted by 1.0%.
