What are my individual rights?

Given that the data received by the Scottish Government is gathered for statistical and research purposes and any results published do not identify individuals, the rights of individuals for whom we hold data are restricted. This data is necessary for carrying out a task for reasons of public interest and is subject to the appropriate safeguards. Following data protection exemptions for data collected under these conditions, the data held by the Scottish Government for this collection is exempt from data access requests and from rectification and erasure.
