1. R and infectious cases

R is currently estimated to be between 0.7 and 1.0 for COVID in Scotland. It has been at that level for the last four weeks.

The epidemiological model estimates the number of infectious people in Scotland on 22 May to be around 19,000. This is the third week in a row there has been a decline in this number.

Further modelled information on hospital beds and intensive care along with the above R and infectious cases data will be published in a weekly update every Thursday.
