Care and Wellbeing

After Covid, we will work together to improve Scotland’s wellbeing

The delivery of a NHS Recovery Plan within the first 100 days of this Parliament, which is set within the context of a developing programme of work to:

• Continue to build capacity and capability to redesign patient pathway and support increased productivity for planned care.

• Continue to redesign unscheduled care to allow as many people as possible to be treated at home/closer to home.

• Provide proactive, holistic support to keep people well, independent and in the most appropriate care settings.

• Drive improvements in health and wellbeing, and reducing inequalities.

This programme of work will demonstrate the core values of the National Performance Framework with progress of the recovery plan measured against the National Outcomes.
