Continuing Professional Development (CPD) system in Tier 4 of the Vision for Agriculture Reform Programme: Fairer Scotland Duty – assessment
Fairer Scotland Duty–assessment to accompany consultation Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Tier 4 of the Agricultural Reform Programme. Tier 4 focuses on people and professional development. This includes skills, knowledge transfer, training, advisory services, CPD and business support.
Stage 4 – decision
The decision stage allows deputy directors (or above) to consider the assessment process from stages 2 and 3. They can also agree changes to the policy, proposal or decision and confirm that due regard to meeting the Fairer Scotland Duty has been achieved.
Key questions to discuss at this summary stage are:
- what changes, if any, will be made to the proposal as a result of the assessment? Why are these changes being made and what are the expected outcomes? if no changes are proposed, please explain why.
All of the options as set out in the paper have already been identified and included within the project planning for the CPD system. However, further stakeholder consultation will be helpful in identifying if there are any further changes that should be made to the CPD system. Suggestions that are brought forward will be considered and included, where appropriate, within its design.
