Our worries
We want to be sure that marriages and civil partnerships are done in the right way, for the right reasons.
The Scottish Government is worried about forced marriages and sham marriages happening in Scotland.
Forced marriage is when someone does not agree to getting married.
A sham marriage is where 2 people who are not in a relationship agree to marry each other in order to get more rights.
These new rights might be things like where they can travel or live.
Also, some people are worried that religious or belief organisations might be focussed on making money from weddings.
