Fish - additional quota allocation 2021: consultation

A consultation on how additional Scottish quota we expect to receive as a result of the UK becoming an independent Coastal State is allocated in 2021.

3. A mechanism designed to adjust national fish quota allocations to take account of the needs of certain fisheries-dependent areas in northern parts of the UK and in the Republic of Ireland. These arrangements can provide additional fishing opportunities to the UK and the Republic of Ireland, at the expense of other Member States when quotas for certain stocks fall below determined trigger levels.
