Turnover
In Wave 65 businesses were asked how their turnover compared with the previous calendar month.
Figure 5: An estimated 30.1% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased in August 2022 compared to July 2022. A further 45.6% of businesses reported that their turnover had stayed the same over this period. An estimated 18.8% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased over this period – rising to 29.0% of businesses in the Accommodation & Food Services industry sector.
